Welcome to Positive Practice Living. This is my positive place to take a minute and breathe. I share my thoughts and experiences as I try to understand the world around me. I am a writer, a yogi, a mother, a wife and so much more. I believe in the power of love and I struggle constantly to balance doing too much and then doing too little. I write about all of these things. I do what I can to intentionally find a little bit of inspiration in the everyday.

Positive Practice

Contemplations are my almost daily pieces of inspiration. I once wrote Daily Devotionals based on Bible verses. Now, I write in a similar format, but I use all kinds of different resources. I pull from quotes, mantras, yoga philosophies, Buddha and other religious texts, including the Bible.

This is my natural flow. I stimulate my mind in this way as I move my body with yoga, walking and running. I have a lot of ideas that work slowly through my mind and many that hit me on the spot when I read a quote or see something interesting while I am out.

I am always trying to learn and grow. I enjoy being in this flow where everything has a purpose.

I hope you will join me on this journey of contemplation. I love to hear your responses. The best part of sharing these ideas is building a community who can learn and grow together.
