{Wordless-ish Wednesday} The Color Run #Happiest5k

This is the before and after of The Color Run (#happiest5k) last Sunday. This is how I started Mother's Day and it was a blast. I spent more of my day with softball friends and awesome family time. Nonetheless, I have been looking forward to running a Color Run since well before I started running. I was so excited, and even with a sore ankle, I was determined to do it. I have done this route before (a standard 5k route in Seattle), and the entire race felt good. I was a little more relaxed because I was making sure my ankle wasn't going to give out on me. In addition, the bubbles and color added a whole new element to the race. I am so glad that I completed this race, got a metal and got covered in color in the process.

I hope you had an awesome weekend, and to all those mothers out there...Happy Mother's Day!

  4. You go girl. I wish I could, but I have Spinal Stenosis. Back problems, so my daughter runs for both of us as she says. She's a nurse.
