Last weekend we went camping at Joemma State Park in Washington State. The park is located on the southern end of the Puget Sound. The opportunity to take a deep breath and see a view like this one was priceless. The weather held out for the weekend and we stayed warm and mostly dry.
Camping and spending time in nature is one of my favorite ways to gain perspective and make everything threatening to overwhelm me slow down for a minute. Do you have anything you do or a place you go to rediscover that feeling of calm? I'd love to hear about it in the comments!
I hope to offer a ray of sunshine into your week! Happy Wednesday!

DeleteI have never heard of that park, but than we are talking about a large area! I lived in Seattle for 4 years off Greenlake. I loved it!
ReplyDeleteI hadn't either until some friends told us that was where we were going, lol. I love Seattle, Greenlake is awesome, another beautiful body of water and great walking path. We are in Capitol Hill now and love it.

This makes me with I lived by water. How pretty! I live in Omaha, Nebraska. It's pretty much in the middle of no where. It's a nice city. Lots to do for families. Just no mountains, water, or waterfalls. Grasslands and corn fields is what we have. Ha!
ReplyDeleteMy sister's family is close to where you live. She was adopted. Some day I want to see where they live. She's been there many times as an adult.
I hope you are able to one day, it is beautiful country. I enjoy living by the water, we moved from the Atlantic Ocean to the Puget Sound a few years ago. Both by water, we enjoy this part of the country. It is a good area. Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week:)
DeleteWow, to go camping again... nope, no can do! I have Spinal Stenosis and my BACK HATES ME! But we go on picnics and those are good too. These are wonderful pics. Thanks for sharing.
